WHAT IS BEYOND SOMATICS?
.png)
Somatics is the field of bodily awareness, learning to connect with the wisdom of your own body, which constantly provides information about what is happening and what needs to be done to restore balance and health in your life.
Beyond Somatics is a project born from the integration of various ancient and modern techniques that not only heal and release traumatic bodily memories but also reactivate nerves that had become inoperative and atrophied from disuse, retraining them to recover their full capacity.

This methodology integrates tantra, breathwork, primary movements inspired by jungle animals, shamanic somatic work in water, chants and shamanic rituals, meditative practices, and energy channelling to facilitate these deep processes of healing, reconnection, and expansion of the self.

ABOUT ME
MARCO NOTO
My name is Marco Noto. I was born in Italy in 1982.
In 2012, after suffering from suffocating chronic sciatica, I became interested in alternative therapies, particularly exploring Vipassana meditation, which led me to leave my life as an engineer and reconnect with the truth of my body, recognizing it as the temple where my spirit resides.
I have learned that the body and mind are two sides of the same coin and that they meet and communicate through the breath. Thus, mindful observation of the breath brings us to a suspension of thought and connects us with our deepest self.
My interest in conscious breathing and the search for ways to access my body’s intelligence led me to encounter Contact Improvisation dance, Thai massage (which I studied extensively with Ajan Pichet in Chiang Mai in 2014), yoga (certified Andean Yoga Teacher in 2023), and Tantra. Tantra, in particular, opened the path to understanding how breath guides sexual energy through the movement of the spine and how any trauma affecting our breathing patterns will also impact the flow of sexual energy.
My passion for training respiratory and postural muscles led me to the practice of Animal Flow and its open-source version, Primal Movement, which allowed me to achieve faster results than my previous yoga practice.
In 2014, thanks to Tantra, I participated in a Family Constellations cycle in Barcelona, learning the importance of accepting and honoring our ancestors in order to manifest a balanced life.
At the age of 33, life called me to Colombia, where I began a deep healing journey with sacred plants—primarily Yagé (Ayahuasca)—under the guidance and protection of devoted indigenous healers with boundless compassion.
During these healing ceremonies and studies with Yagé, I experienced for the first time a connection with Jesus Christ and visually encountered aspects of the spirit world. My intuitive ability to sense where and how to touch my patients deepened, and I came to understand and embrace my role as a healing channel and prayer facilitator.
Over the past few years, I have continued studying entheogenic plants within the Huni Kuin, Shipibo, and Daimista traditions.
Currently, I live in Pisac, in the Sacred Valley, where I share the wisdom of living fully in the body through Beyond Somatics—loving and honoring each breath, each movement, each sound, and each glance to create a wonderful life experience in service to this Earth.
